Current music:"One Luv" - Xe La

Monday night and last night saw Emerald Frequency hosting open mics.
The one on Monday at McNamara's was slow, as can be imagined. Somehow, we all ended up sitting at the bar watching fireworks on TV. Had four talented musicians perform for us though, including a fellow who sang in Spanish. It was quite a treat!

Last night was at the Phoenix in Lakewood. What a crazy little world! 18 very talented people performed their music and poetry. (Two of them were at the open mic at McNamara's the night before: St. Andrew and Gene.) We had the poetry of Christopher Steele and the funky (and painfully funny) Punk Rock Cell Phone Duet. Rachel, Mark, Monica, Steve...random songs about Jess being a theater person, and not to mention Mr. Prickles: the racing porcupine! (I told you this place was wicked crazy: it was great!)

We might be going back there next Tuesday. (Not sure yet.) By then i think Xe La will be back.

Until later, kiddies,
~Starlie~

I knew a poet called Chris Steele who originates from Liverpool - I am David Ruaune and would like to re-establish contact. I feel like Lestat searching for Marius. My email can be found by him on the web.

Love, Dave

Dunno if you'll ever see this (hope you do!) but it's been a long time since i saw him (couple of years.) I do remember that though i didn't know much about the man, i know that he didn't have a Liverpool accent of any sort (totally American accent.) I hope you find who you're looking for though. Good luck!
